Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach me at advancedbodywork@mail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The frequency of your massage sessions will depend on your individual needs and preferences. Some clients come in weekly, while others come in monthly or as needed.

We are open Mondays - Fridays from 9am to 3pm, typically.

Saturdays - Only by request and only if the therapist agrees to do a session for an additional fee of $20.

While I understand these hours may not be convenient for some people, I can not and will not be available 24/7.

I kindly ask you to find another office that will accommodate your time frame vs. asking me  to do more, if the above schedule doesn't work for you.

I do accept HSA and FSA plans.

Care Credit does not recognize massage therapy as being a medical service at this time.  So, unfortunately I can not bill Care Credit.

A typical full body massage includes work on your hands, arms, neck, head (typically by request), back, shoulders, glutes, legs, and feet. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage what so ever.  Please do not schedule with me if you're looking for anything sexual, sensual, erotic, and/or exotic.  Please see my Policies page for further details.

Yes, you will be properly draped the entire time. Only the area being worked on will be exposed. There must always be a sheet used to protect clients and the therapist. See my Policies page for further details.

Amazing!  That is my hope each time you get off the massage table. Although, it is not uncommon to have some soreness afterwards or the next day. Some people will feel a little sick if they do not drink enough water after a massage. To avoid soreness or feeling sick I recommend drinking lots of water, going for a 10 minute walk, and light stretching just before bed.

There are so many benefits of massage to list!  Some of the general benefits that you get with all massage types is increased blood flow, decreased stress, and increased mobility.
